Stopped in to buy 5 lbs of Seabass and some smoked trout for New Years. Saw smoked whitefish and bluefish, but no trout. Got on line at the checkout to ask about the trout (one person in front of me), since no one else seemed available to help me. Woman in front of me took forever to check out, including the writing of her check (what is today's date?...) When she was finally done, I stepped up and waited for the cashier to make eye contact with me. She was diddling with her cellphone while I waited. After continued diddling and no eye contact, I left. Went to Whole Foods and got both items. Seabass was $23 per lb, vs. $33 at Fin. Saved $50, and the cashier was attentive and congenial. Sorry Fin, I tried to make you my fish store.

Ordered a warm lobster roll, cold lobster roll, bang bang shrimp, and a fish fry for takeout. The cold lobster roll had a good portion of well-cooked lobster, but was overdressed with the tarragon mayo completely masking any flavor of lobster. The bang bang shrimp was seasoned and breaded well, but the shrimp were overcooked and chewy. Not sure if this is the regular quality or if the kitchen being busy (which the employees mentioned) had an impact. Will try your fresh seafood in the future (the counter looked great), but will probably avoid takeout.

Fantastic food and equally friendly and helpful staff. My wife suggested we try it and after taking our first bites, we looked at each other and said "I believe we'll be coming back to this place!" The crispy oven-fried cod with ginger slaw was incredibly good. I'm usually a cocktail sauce guy, but the homemade tartar sauce was great. Limited seating due to a small table area, but most folks we saw this evening were taking orders to go.
