Fi'lia South Beach

Server charged us $7 for a bottle of water instead of offering me water from the pitcher when I said I wanted regular water. Pasta was just ok. My friend had much better carbonara tonight at Maxine's down the street. Also, we sat at the table forever waiting on our check. Tip was already added in and thankfully we knew to look for that as a friend had already told me most restaurants do that here in South Beach.

Service was great. Drinks were good and generous for the price. I had the teriyaki salmon that was a bit undercooked (not flaky like a well-cooked filet of salmon would be). My wife had the lasagna and commented that it was pretty dry and almost tasted microwaved. We were one of three seated tables in the restaurant, so perhaps we just caught them before the kitchen really got going for the night, but overall the food was somewhat disappointing.

The food is very basic and overpriced. Had a breakfast sandwich that was awful. Later had a chicken Caesar salad and a coke for $32! Beware, service fee (tip) is always included. Service was good until you finish eating. Trying to get the check was very difficult. They won't even show you the check, just tell you what you owe.
