I was staying at a nearby air b and b. I woke up early in the morning hungover from the nights activities. The only thing open was a general store and this restaurant. They open at 830am. I went in and ordered a nice breakfast. The tortillas were the best I've ever had! I could tell they were homemade and so delicious. The prices were affordable and even though I was the only black person in the restaurant they were very kind and the other patrons greeted me warmly. When I come back to Chicago I will definitely be back!
The fajita plate was amazing. Shrimp, beef, and chicken were perfectly cooked and so flavorful. Great date lunch spot.
This place is so good!!! The real deal of Mexican restaurants. They’ve been here for 40 years and it’s probably because of the amazing service and the fact that they only use prime quality meats. Everything is amazing and the Licuados are fire!!! Thank you!!
