Long-established local gem, sometimes called the little sibling to Agave located down the block. The Enjococado and Mole sauces are wonderful, and you can get a taste of either by ordering an a la carté quesadilla with an upcharge. Shrimp entrees are excellent. Good bar drinks. Same friendly staff has been here for years.
This is one of my favorite restaurants to hit when I visit Mountain View. The Enchiladas Encojocado are so good, the house enchilada sauce is delicious kind of like a Masala sauce which you wouldn't expect to be so good on a Mexican dish. Their red enchilada sauce is also super good. The salsa they give as an appetizer is spicy but good as well and the house made chips add a lot.
This is an old favorite that has stood the test of time. Three excellent salsas, a great tequila menu, and outstanding food
