Great recommendation. This place was a blast. Very large group, a maze of rooms going in all directions. Big portions, tasty food, giant, tasty, STRONG margaritas. ????
Fidels in Eden Gardens, between Del Mar and Solana Beach. I grew up in Del Mar and went to Earl Warren Jr. High a block away, and remember the original restaurant. A one room dining establishment and served by their family. There are 4 other Mexican Eateries on the same block, but to see the remodel of the family home to add more dining areas, is unique. The food is really good, and we will always find our way back to it.
Great Mexican food. The Chile Relleno is amazing. The brown sauce on it is incredible. Chips and salsa free before every meal. Fidel's is a nice hidden gem in Solana Beach. A must try.
