Felipe's 109

A buddy and I were thinking about lunch yesterday and he asked if I had any place I really wanted to try. I remembered all the advertisements I'd seen about Felipe's 109. He asked me, "why there?" The owner just seems to be a very good guy. Pro-cop, pro-military, pro-small, local business. And so am I. We were not disappointed! From the cheerful greetings as we walked in, the great service, delicious food, to the friendly farewells as we left. Everything was great and made me want to return again. I had the taco burgers and fries. The taco burgers had super crisp shells that didn't fall apart when I bit it. The meat was delicious. I would've liked to have just a bit more. The fries were fantastic! Fresh, crispy on the outside and soft and hot inside. Perfectly seasoned. I'll definitely return to try other items on the menu.

This place is it ! ! ! I ordered the 109 combo and my girlfriend ordered the Sombrero combo and DAMN ! After my first bite into my taco burger, i AUTOMATICALLY knew i wanted more. I actually got super mad at myself because i ate it so fast. The Taco burgers nice crunchy tortilla, JUICY patty, and the green chili ???????????? This was the MONA LISA of a burger, of a taco, of BOTH. That’s 3 gold medals ! The green chile ranch they had also ???? i would throw that in a blender with some of their fries and throw it back like a shot of whiskey. If you don’t stop here at least once, i swear on my guinea pig’s grave that El Cucuy will sneak into your house and and suck all the good memories out of you while you’re sleeping. This place DOES NOT disappoint.

Don't judge this book by it's cover! It may be a little place backed up in the corner of the parking lot, but the food is worth sneaking over to it. They were super busy tonight when I dropped by, but still had food out in about 10 minutes with a smile. The fries actually look and taste like they came from real potatoes. The OB burger is a good, classic, burger. Good sized patty, all the fixin's, and good quality meat. The taco burger seemed a little gimmicky at first, but it was on special for Tuesday, so I gave it a try. It's a little silly to put a burger patty in a taco shell, but it works out somehow. The green chili adds just the right amount of kick.
