Hole-in-the-wall burger bar gem. My husband and I have been searching for a good bison burger for over 3 years now.... And our search at long last ended here. The food was beyond words. Federal Tap House has the best gluten free pizza I've ever had. I actually like it more than regular pizza. I got the mushroom pizza. It is mouth watering with a thin crispy crust, and it was loaded with mushrooms. I also got the hydro Boston bibb salad and it was also delicious. I'm definitely ordering from here from now on, and I can't wait to try their other menu items. I highly recommend this restaurant to eat at.
The place was surprising empty for dinner hour, but it was a weekday. Reviews were spot on and the service was very good. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend the Taphouse Burger as it was incredible and the fries cooked in duck fat were some of the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back my next time in the state capital.
