Fat Rosie's Taco and Tequila Bar

Great place for Mexican food. Margaritas are so huge. Large choice of mexicain food. The plate were very generous and tasty. Kind and friendly service. We were placed on the patio outside and it was so nice and quieter than inside.

We have been going to a different Mexican place in downers all this while and we never thought of going here. We were walking in Naperville downtown and suddenly saw this Mexican place and thought to venture out. first look, the place looked very lively and everyone seemed happy. There is a big sign on the wall that says I love tacos. we were seated quickly and the server brought chips and salsa. This was the freshest chips and salsa we have ever eaten. we completed one batch and in no time the server brought another without any hesitation.  Awesome service for the drinks, my wife had a mango margarita and I had the old-fashioned. I was a bit skeptical about getting an old-fashioned at the Mexican place initially but the drink was too good. The right amount of smoked rum and the presentation were excellent. Wifey loved the margarita too and she said the drink has real mango at the bottom. I have not seen any other place doing that ., for the food, the server suggested fajitas and salmo

Excellent food! I had the skirt steak and most places over cook the meat. Also, try the freshly made guacamole that’s good and chunky. I enjoyed a top shelf margarita for just a little more money, it was well worth it. The outside patio was good, but annoying car alarm went off at least 6 times during our dinner. Service was ok, but the were packed on a Sunday of a summer holiday weekend.
