Fat Boyz Barbecue Restaurant and Food Trucks- Fort Lauderdale

The food was okay, enjoyed the sides more than the meat… probably won’t be back very expensive food not worth the price but it filled my stomach for that moment. I love bbq Just not theirs I know bbq! Anyhow food is just ok. As I said before sides are tasty. didn’t finish the ribs.

Hands down this is the BEST BBQ I have had in South Florida.. I felt like at was at my daddy’s house for the 4th of July.. the ribs AMAZING the collards and Coleslaw equally AMAZING! The establishment was clean, staff VERY courteous and friendly. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend! 10 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ok let's do this... So I found this restaurants existence on Google, not the highest rating but so long as it's higher than 4.0 I'm trying it. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich and smoked chicken plate. The pulled pork was good, nothing special but good. The chicken though was special...It was smokey with a great taste...smokey, sweet and juicy. The side of baked beans was smokey and sweet, like some kind of baked bean candy. The French fries were very good and didn't taste as if they were of the frozen variety but they were good none the less. The bbq sauces were a surprising treat. I'm not a fan of mustard based sauces but this sauce was very good. The tomato based sauce was one of the best I've had... Smokey, sweet and a bit of heat. The only thing we did have a mutual problem with was their own branded soft drinks dispensed from the tap and their homemade sweet tea. The tea tasted like it had some kind of carbonation, fermentation, going on... I don't know but it got spilled out. T
