Farmer Boys

I used to live in Southern CA and loved Farmer Boys at the time. I was very excited to take my Texas raised husband there to experience it. It was all but the great experience that I had remembered from just six years ago. The service was still impeccable, but the food was far below any acceptable expectations. I ordered the California BLT, and was served the end slice of bread. I explained to the waitress that I did not eat the end slices at home and was not prepared to pay higher prices for it at a restaurant. She was very understanding and exchanged it with a very customer friendly smile. The only problem was that that bread on the second sandwich was stale. It made the entire sandwich inedible. I did not complain again, but the quality of food was not what I was used to from Farmer Boys. This is my first time ever! And I can't believe it took me this long to try Farmer Boys. First Impression, the cashiers/staff are very welcoming and friendly. They were about to close the door for the night, but let us in anyway with no complaints. So accommodating. The food: Burgers and fries were delicious and juicy! Fresh and seasoned well. The fries was tasty.

Place seemed a little run down. Food was good, however; the staff seemed annoyed and overworked. **But seriously I know It's in the greater LA area, but those prices (especially compared to other stores) not Okay!**
