Fallbrook Cafe

We cleaned our plates! Fallbrook Cafe feels like we want back in time. The food tastes like it was freshly made... from scratch! Our server is very attentive. She checked on us quite a few times, and another server refilled our coffee without needing to look or ask for her to do so. We genuinely appreciated their quality of service and the savory porkchops, including the corned beef hash. Parking: Plenty of parking space.

Pulled up on Saturday evening at 4:30 and there were no customers there. I was a little concerned. Once inside I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it was delicious! My daughter had the chicken fried steak and I had a bite. It was delicious too! If you’re in town stop by here and get a bite, you won’t be disappointed!

I love little local diners just like Fallbrook Cafe. The establishment was very clean , the seats wiped, the counter were immediately cleaned after a patron left . The 3 female hostess were genuinely nice and made sure i had everything i needed.The stainless steel appliances did not have grease buildup and were shined . I ordered the Country Fried Steak as usual with my eggs over medium, hash brown and sourdough toast. The toast was perfect , nice crunchy liner with a soft middle. The eggs were a bit undercooked for my liking but they did just fine. The hash brown were hot , crunchy , moist and soft all the right textures. Finally the Country Fried Steak it was good but would really like to see a HOMEMADE steak prepared. I know this was a premade frozen steak because the steak and batter separated as individual parts. I still give this establishment an A+ . If the owner is reading this please just do homemade Country Fried Steak especially if you are going to charge 16.99 for the meal.
