I used to go to the EZ Take Out in San Diego back in the 90's and remember it having awesome food. I preferred EZ take out over in and out hands down. I was so sad when they closed down many years ago, so I was happy to see one in Upland when I was in the area recently. I raced over there to have dinner and so excited, but when I got there I was so disappointed. The location was tiny and dilapidated and connected to a car wash. It just had a few concrete tables by the dumpster, no shade, and I t was so hot. I couldn't believe how dirty and sad the location looked. I ordered my food anyway my burger was alright but it was missing that great taste that I remembered so much. It's was just alright. I can't believe that after being in business so long a business would be so bad all around. It was not worth the 25 minutes drive out of my way. Please make a nicer location with an indoor with A/C because that Upland area is so hot. Had to give one star because i was so displeased.
I’ve been around too many burger joints to know, making a good burger ISN’T EASY... there’s many variables to take into a fast burger joint. The burger seasoning, the French fries, and the time of how long it takes to make. This Burger Joint right here is like no other. Many have compared it to in n out...NO. Wrong. This burger joint far exceeded my expectations. The Burger was Great, the fries were Fresh, and the time was less than 5 minutes!!????better than in n out, better than shake shack, better than most burger joints out there! One of the best hole in the wall joints still standing. Only way to find out, is to try it yourself????????
Delicious and tasty food! Got the cheeseburger combo. Made to order fresh. They offer a veggie sandwich, chicken sandwich and they added chicken tenders! I'll try those next time. They are always attentive and have great service. They also have benches and tables to eat there. They serve breakfast until 11:30 A.M. Delicious grilled cheese; I always add an egg! Vegetarian options: They offer a veggie burger Parking: It was easy to find parking.
