Epic Chophouse at Kingsley

Quick review: go here - it’s delicious, has great service. 9.9 out of 10 would recommend. Ask for Kory he is fantastic. Shout out to Napa at Kingsley for being awful which made us walk over to Epic Chophouse, which after a brief 8 minute wait had us seated despite being packed! Longer review… we ordered 4 appetizers. Meatball, bacon, cheese bread, lobster. All 4 were great. The cheese bread and bacon were another level. Everyone should try both in my opinion. The salads were good. Might be the “weakest” spot of the night (which when you criticize a salad I mean come on) but the Caesar was a little oily or watery. Runny style dressing which wasn’t our favorite but it was good and the walnuts on top in place of croutons was a great add. We had many different entrees. The Wagyu strip was delicious, the filet was excellent, the Wellington was great, the shrimp were good, the bacon wrapped scallops were superb, we ordered way too much but nothing was bad. Nice restaurant with a modern steakhouse vibe. Bartender was topnotch & very knowledgeable of the premium tequilas, especially the Clase Azul Reposado. Waitress Josie did great work keeping our table happy throughout the evening. All of the food was prepared well and tasted great.

This is the second time we dined at Epic Chophouse. The first experience was when they first opened and overall good but wanted to give it a few months before giving them a true rating. Let's just say Epic Chophouse did not disappoint. The restaurant was packed but all the guests seemed to be having an epic time. We arrived early for our reservation so decided to have an appetizer and drinks at a cocktail table with Sofia as our server. The old fashioned, dirty martini and colossal shrimp cocktail were all excellent. We were seated on time for our reservation and even better got sat at a table close by in the same servers section. Sofia definitely made the experience enjoyable as she was polite, always smiled, attentive and made great suggestions. We observed that she showed the same attention to all her tables even when the restaurant was packed, so big kudos as they have a big asset working the dining room.
