I travel for work, yeah I know lucky guy (sarcasm) and I try to find go to places in the places I have to visit. This place has earned my business as my go to Thai place whenever I’m in town. I like my food a little spicy so I ask for extra medium. Lol. They actually read that and gave me chili sauce and red pepper to make it the right spice level. The pad Thai was above average in flavor as compared to many other Thai restaurants. Definitely delicious and the kitchen cares about their craft. I only leave a review when I find a place that has passion and care in what they create. It’s a respect thing for me. Thank you Emerald Thai!!
Waiter was kind, helpful and very welcoming. The staff was also extremely professional. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing; we had a deranged older woman with a dog who came to the place screaming at the staff for no legitimate reason, and the staff remained calm and respectful the entire time. They just came to us later and apologized for the disturbance.
Service was excellent, food was at the table within minutes. The place feels as if you are visiting a friend at their home, nothing super fancy but so comfortable. Food tastes homemade and genuine, the coconut curry we tried, both were very rich and thick, I would have liked a bigger portion of rice to mix with the sauce but serving was enough. Price was fair.
