What a cool and eclectic place! Always love finding local favorites and this one is at the top of the list for Baton Rouge. We stopped here for lunch and ate at the bar due to them being extremely busy. The pork skins and queso appetizer is amazing. I had the avocado sandwich and brussels sprouts - both wonderful. Check this one out for sure! A+ doing a lot of things right here.
Fantastic options, even for a vegetarian! Ask for their drink menu. They have an impressive beer selection (I had no idea)! ???? I went with a coffee stout. I always like to get the 3 cheese pimento appetizer to share and a ???? tomato pie for myself. Fantastic ???? honey glazed, charred brussel sprouts. You'll have a hard time narrowing down your choices, especially for dessert! I went with a chocolate cream pie. Fast and friendly service. Thanks, Zoe ???? I went for restaurant week and enjoyed everything. We had the rib tips, fried pickles steak and potatoes and the praline nachos. The first time my rib tips came out they were cold. I told my waiter and he brought me a new order which had a really good flavor. The fried pickles were really good, especially the sauce that came with them. It complimented them well. The steak and potato dish was good too. It had a little too much gravy for my taste but it was good. Even for restaurant week, the portion sizes were filling. Last I got the praline nachos. They were good but I thought they'd be hot. It was a cold dish that came with ice cream on top. It was also good but I guess I expected something different. It also had a fire pickle mixed in. The service was just okay. Our waiter didn't come back to check on us very often, and there were gnats harassing me. It could have just been that day and because they were so busy for restaurant week. I've been before and the service was still just ok
