Elevenses Fresh Table & Bar

Checking out Elevenses first night of happy hour...the Kings Blood Orange crush is instantly my favorite! The happy hour menu was fantastic (ordered one of everything), the ambiance is refreshingly inviting and the owner, staff and chef welcome you like family. I have to say...this place has hit my top 5 restaurants in VA Beach.

I discovered the charming Elevensies while visiting Virginia Beach recently. I went for the name but will go back for the food and the friendly service. My friend and I enjoyed the mimosa flight, all of which were delicious, my favorite being the Elevensosa. My pancakes were so good, probably the lightest, fluffiest I've ever had. I don't normally think about maple syrup, but the bourbon black tea maple syrup that accompanied the pancakes was A-mazing! My friend had a delicious egg sandwich that included mushrooms and asparagus. I can't even begin on the drinks menu; there are soon many I want to try. Our waiter was friendly, a joy to deal with. The owner stopped by our table and we had a lively chat with him about the restaurant. Overall fantastic experience and a place I'd come back to every time I'm in Virginia Beach.

WOW! What a beautiful establishment. Walking in the garage style doors to this breath taking beautiful restaurant made me smile instantly. The live keyboard and vocals was an awesome surprise. An array of genres took me on this wild ride and I loved every minute of it. We didn't come to eat, only to have a couple cocktails, so not sure of the food, however, it looked just as beautiful in passing and the portions seemed generous. The cocktails were delicious and fresh! We got the pleasure to speak with Dennis (the owner) and his kind girlfriend. They were engaged with not just us, but every customer. Time and time as we sat at the bar customers walked out thanking him for the enjoyable experience and/or food. The cost is definitely higher than a typical brunch spot. But Elevenses is not typical. I'm certain this place will soon be a hard spot to get a quick seat at. Go check them out!
