Went here with my friend for a bite and honestly it was very good. The waitress was sweet and helpful. The food was delicious and honestly good for its price too.
Excellent food choices and delicious, seats are also available but it's limited. Cocktails are delicious, I would recommend the mango margarita. They also have a decent level of alcohol too. I would highly recommend the chicken mole, it was flavourful and portion size was very good. Staff members are very friendly and give you recommendations too and make good and strong cocktails. However what I disliked about the place is they were charging extra money almost $10 extra (perhaps it was percentage based) to use card instead of cash. I could not see this displayed anywhere nor did our server tell us this before we ordered, they also added a mandatory service charge of 18%, this is my first time in New York and most places made it optional and we were happy to give that in cash and pay the full bill in card. Just keep that in mind as you walk into this restaurant.
Good homestyle cooking, if a bit inconsistent. Some dishes are overly salty while others are under-seasoned. Disappointing not to get fresh lime wedges, especially with tacos. And yet the rice and beans are remarkably good, not just filler.
