The food is pretty good. I usually get the shrimp tacos. They don’t disappoint.
Everything about this restaurant is fantastic. From the food, to the service. Everything was A1. Was greeted nicely, got seated quickly, outrageous food came out quickly as well. The drinks were AMAZING. I took my mom here for her birthday and after her 2 drinks, she was DRUNK. Overall, I would definitely come back and recommend this restaurant again.
Just got back from celebrating my wife's birthday at Torrance El Torito on Hawthorne Blvd. We had a really fantastic time tonight. This restaurant is doing things the right way. We arrived last minute without a reservation at 6 pm and needed a table for 4. The hostess got us seated right away and I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday on the down low. The waiters and servers were just excellent and attentive. The food was right on point as were the drinks. Our server Gerardo was just as pleasant as could be and he was welcomed into our conversations. Turns out he makes an excellent tableside guacamole and has a nice outgoing personality. He really helped to make the evening feel special and relaxed. They sang happy birthday to my wife after dinner and we all were very happy with our decision to go to our local El Torito. I just want to thank the entire crew for an outstanding job. Everything was just great. My wife was totally happy when we got home and I couldn't be more impressed
