El Tequileno Family Mexican Restaurant

I have visited El Tequileno a number of times with family and friends and can honestly recommend without reservation. There can be hiccups here or there with order accuracy (no one is perfect), but the staff is pleasant and the food delicious. Their menu offers a wide selection of eats at reasonable prices, with a few vegetarian options available. Their alcohol selection is also expansive with an impressive level of customization available for margaritas. I haven't had any issues with cleanliness, both with in bathroom and restaurant in general. Overall if you're craving some Mexican quisine, this is a solid choice.

The food is delicious. They have plenty of options on there menu to try. As well as drink menu. I had Ceviche with was delicious. And also had some drinks. I look forward to going again to trying something new!!

This used to be one of our go to Mexican restaurants.No more. The last two times we have been there the service was bad and the food was not good. at the Lakewood location we ate in the bar area and the waitress was smug, rude and really didn't give a darn about service. My food was heated in the microwave because the rice was burned to the bottom of the plate and it was so hot I waited quite a while to take the first bite. My wife's on the other hand was Luke warm. We asked the the waitress about it and she said"Well ya that's the way it comes". No offer to heat hers up , nothing. She walked away and never came back until she brought the bill. The prices have risen significantly. Fajitas for two.47.00.Egad. No more.
