El Tequileno family Mexican restaurant

Awesome mexican restaurant. A Mexican friend of mine said once "the way you can tell a good Mexican restaurant is how good their chips and salsa is". They are very good here. I had the Veggie taco salad, amazing. Also had a house margaritas, refreshing in a 100 degree weather. Highly recommend it.

You can’t tell from the picture, so I’ll spill the beans, so to speak. The pork in the pork carnitas enchiladas is crazy tender, if it were any more tender it couldn’t even be pork. As you can tell it was light on the sauce. The margarita with casa amigos tequila was only $10 and was fresh and excellent. Everything else, unfortunately, was struggling to be average. I could be wrong, but the guacamole tasted like the stuff you get at the grocery store. The beans were ok, however the rice was dry and not so flavorful. Overall, i was satisfied because the enchiladas filled me up.

It was a little slow to start, took a while to be waited on but there is Covid so took that into consideration. Once we ordered things went along quite smoothly. We got what we ordered and the food was good. Staff was friendly as well.
