El Tequila Mexican Restaurant & Bar

We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and the place was very busy but we were seated within a couple of minutes. Service was excellent, our waitress was very attentive. The food was excellent!! I don't live close to this restaurant but I can see us doing takeout often. Their horchata was delicious. Side note* the parking lot is small and gets filled quickly on their busy days.

My friend told me that they have good food and margaritas. It didn’t disappoint! I had the mango chamoy margarita and I got the grilled tilapia with habanero sauce. If you love spicy food definitely order this one! Good size serving and it’s quite flavorful. Fresh veggies added to your plate instead of beans was a plus for me.

I think most of the people go here for the drinks and late hours -I went this evening for the first time and had my family go with me ..we all got something different, I was not really satisfied with the flavor of the rice and beans (Mundane… basic ), however the service was good and if you’re gonna get anything I would recommend the quesadilla taco. I think that the cheese enchiladas were good as well. I am going to give it another go just to see if maybe they were having an off night. .. my Gordita bread was more burnt than toasted —-If the food is better I will definitely update this review
