El Tamarindo Coal Fired Pizza

I've eaten a lot of bad pizza lately and the streak keeps going. El T could be OK pizza if they toned down the cheese, and actually cooked the pizza, and why all the grease. South FL is not a place for real pizza. I believe it's more about the profit than really good pizza. I guarantee most of these likes are from friends or bots. I don't recommend this place unless you're starving.

Someone said this place was a hidden gem in Hollywood. Let me second this 200%. Say, 400%. The pizza is terrific. Baked in a woodfire oven at a high temperature. This makes for a dough that is light, crispy, and NOT floury, unlike other pizzas baked at much lower temperatures. Service was superb, and we had an amazing sit-down meal for $20 per person (yeah, make sure you try those unique chicken wings, too!). This IS a hidden gem. My only regret? Finding this restaurant at the end of my trip to Florida. Otherwise they would have seen me often. I will be sure to eat there again as soon as I come back to Hollywood.

Great local restaurant. Food with good flavor. Small menu with plenty to choose from. The dishes are well served that will ease your hunger comfortably. I will go back again…
