El Sol Mexican Restaurant Bar & Grill

This place has gone through a lot of management changes. Over time, they've had their ups and their downs, and their name has changed a lot. The most recent visits I've had, however, they have seemed to really returned to being on the up - they have some amazing dishes and we're rarely if ever dissapointed with anything that we choose to order from their menu. They've always been wonderful to us, and the changes they made really did seem to help them shine a lot more. Speaking honestly, in the area - they're my favorite mexican place, because of the variety of dishes they have and the fact that they are just made so well. Definitely come here and try some of their unique dishes you won't find at other places. While they have both the traditional mexican-food restaraunt dishes as well as some more unique that I've only seen here, I'm not dissapointed when I try something new with them. Wait staff is always lovely and welcoming, and will see you taken care of. They listen to our requests

Eat here last night for the first time with a friend. Had one of the Arroz Specialties chicken dishes. It was good. My friend had the beef fajitas and said they were "just okay". Our waitress was very friendly but unfortunately not around to much. I had to go to the back to ask for more water. I think it was maybe just because it was close to closing time and she was working on getting things ready to close. Seemed like most of the wait staff was focused more on closing down than servicing customers still eating. Will try again sometime when in this area of town and see if it was just the time of day coming here or not for good customer service.

Food was okay. Nothing bad to say but can’t give it rave reviews. I ordered take out fajitas.
