El Ranchero Mexican Food & Margaritas

Great tasting food and drinks! Service was fast and the outdoor patio seating was nice, with comfortable chairs. For drinks, we had tamarindo and strawberry margaritas and for entrees we had mole enchiladas and potato tacos. Will definitely be going back.

So I have been wanting to come try this place for a very long time. I finally convinced my husband to try it with me. The service was great. Very friendly staff. However the food was very blah. We ordered the 6pc taquitos 3 chicken and 3 beef. The beef taquitos were good the chicken taquitos had no flavor. We couldn't even finish them. I saved them to bring home to my dog it was that bad. For dinner I had three combination plate of enchiladas. Chicken, beef, and cheese. The chicken and cheese enchilada was good but could've used more seasoning. The beef enchilada was very bland had no flavor same as The chicken taquitos. My husband was excited to try the chili Colorado. He was very disappointed. No flavor at all. He saved some of it to bring home and in his words to "fix it" and I must say he really did fix it. Lol he added seasoning and wine to it, and it was amazing! We also had a few margaritas. I started off with a mango margarita and my husband had a strawberry margarita.

Host was very polite over the phone and in person. Love the hibiscus flowers on the outside and cozy outdoor and indoor seating. Some of the reviews worried us but our sever was polite and attentive. The food was tasty and the portions huge. We’ll be back. Thank for making our family night out a good one.
