El Pollito Express #2

First time trying here. We came on a Friday night around 7pm. I tried it based on reviews but everything tasted bland and flavorless. I ordered the quesabirria and the consome tasted close to water. My dad got the barbacoa nachos and they were flavorless. He also got some asada tacos and he said they were not seasoned at all. The only thing that was ok was the carnitas plate and carnitas tacos that my mom got. The carnitas had some flavor but the rice and beans tasted like nothing… literally like the beans were boiled in water and then blended, no salt no anything added. Rice tasted like it was cooked in water a little tomato sauce and that’s it. Cheese dip and salsa had a sour taste like it was bad… probably will be sick tonight. Not good and definitely not worth the price. Save your money.

I’ve always loved this place until today! Ordered 4 chimichangas, 3 ground beef and one chicken. When we all got home and cut into our food, they were FILLED with refried beans and only topped with the actual meats we ordered. So it seems they’re trying to make their meat stretch by getting over on customers. Called the manager and was told to bring the cut open, half eaten food back in.

Been coming here at least once a week for over a year. Absolutely delicious every time. They have only messed up my drive-thru order once or twice after all this time, which is a really good ratio considering how often I eat here. Everything is fresh and what I would consider healthy as far as "fast food".Highly recommend.
