It was so good. The tequila was good. The salsa was different. I’ve never had any with carrots in it.
My overall experience here was positive. Our waitress, Lourdes, was very pleasant and attentive to our needs while we were there. To start, she gave us homemade chips with salsa which was a nice beginning to our meal. I ordered the enchiladas with chicken. They were very tasty but I thought it was strange that there were grilled chicken strips outside of the enchiladas. Come to find out, there was shredded chicken inside the enchiladas in addition to the strips, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, It was the perfect amount of food.. i would have given this place 4 stars if I hadn't tried my daughter's steak which was over cooked and had a decent account of fatty gristle within it. Also, being in the city, you end up having to pay to park which is sort of a letdown. The atmosphere felt like your average bar with cement flooring and cafeteria style tables and chairs. On the plus side, the artwork on the walls were vibrant, tasteful and very cheery! I would say i it's worth
Food was great. Grandma's in the kitchen type of place. Our server was an absolute sweetheart! Forgot her name but she loved colored pens. Definitely personalized service. Didn't feel rushed. There's no shade for the outdoor seating. Could really take advantage of the space with an awning of some sort. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs. Double doors.
