The place is nice however the service could be FRIENDLIER and more WELCOMING. Their menu clearly states in several spots that they use LARD on all their foods. Well I have gallbladder issues and their food caused me to go to the ER because of how fatty the plate was, the rice, the meat, absolutely everything was no good in taste even with the lard. I honestly think this place should shut down its super unhealthy. Eat at your own risk.
This has been my favorite place for almost 20 years since I went for the first time. I must say, I was a little surprised on my last trip as I noticed the quesadillas have gotten smaller than they've always been in the past. I've never minded paying a premium in the past because the portions are insane, but I see some corner cutting starting to happen and it's concerning. I hope they keep true to their roots and bring the old tortillas back. My score (and loyalty) will definitely change if this continues.
