El Norteño

We came here hoping for fajitas. After walking in and sitting down, the waitress took our drink orders. I got a horchata and my boyfriend got a coke. The horchata tasted a bit artificial, as if it was made from a drink mix and not homemade. Then we tried ordering chicken fajitas with a side of cheese dip (queso) , but they told us they don’t have that. What kind of Mexican place doesn’t have melted cheese dip. we were hungry so we reluctantly said it was fine. She then brought out the chips and salsa. Took one bite of the hard, gross chip and got up to cancel our order, pay for our drinks, and leave. Very disappointed.

Honestly it was nice here, the food was good and the service was good for how many people there was, we got our food like an hour later. It was cold but good for what it was there was like no rice I guess so instead they gave us fries. But we sat outside and it was nice :)

Decent place but we personally had better. First time visiting...so when we walked in we waited to be informed if we choose our seats or they seat us. Waitresses saw us but didn't acknowledge us. We chose our seats and it took awhile to be attended to. Food was alright. I ordered mole verde steak enchiladas that came with rice, beans, and little salad (with diced tomatoes and a dollap of sour cream). There was something off with my steak. Other person ordered chicken burrito dinner, she enjoyed her meal. *Prices: Burrito Dinner $11.24; Enchiladas (Mole Verde) $10.94 +$1 for Steak (choice of steal, ribeye with grilled onions, or tongue)
