Josefina is the owner of El Nopal Mexican restaurant in Hartford, Connecticut. She immigrated to the United States from town of Chilpancingo, Guanajuato, Mexico in 1994. Her parents still reside in Chilpancingo. Josefina has been in the restaurant business for over 12 years. In 2003, she opened her first El Nopal in Meriden, Connecticut. The restaurant has since expanded to three locations in Hartford and one in Manchester, Connecticut. Josefina takes great pride in her Mexican cuisine and her restaurant's unique atmosphere. El Nopal is known for its Authentic street tacos and unique margaritas. Josefina is dedicated to providing her guests with a memorable dining experience

I been looking for good mexican food since I'm originally from New Mexico and this place was so good. Customer service was excellent too!!
Really friendly people Food is really good seasoning and real Mexican flavor I order green chicken enchiladas and is like going back to my child hood I give 5 stars sin duda (without doubt) The chairs are so comfortable Definitely I will come back you need to try this if you are around Hartford area… Regards: Chef Julio
