El Mezón Authentic Mexican Restaurant

This bright and colorfully decorated restaurant was a welcoming sight on a cold ,chilly and icy 24 degree night! We were warmly welcomed at the door by a a cheerful hostess. We were served homemade and warm tortilla chips with a spicy flavorful salsa, as soon as we were seated. So delicious! Our Palomas were refreshing and perfectly blended with a hint of lime. The Margarita's were supersized! We enjoyed a variety of main dishes. The Chili verde was more acidic tasting, than we are accustomed to. It was hard to finish this dish. The Chicken Chimichanga was very tasteful. The melted cheese topped it perfectly and added a smooth dimension to the crispy tortilla. The Beef and Chicken fajitas were enough for 2 people and were seasoned perfectly with onions, peppers and spices. So good served with soft flour tortillas. The Molcajete specialty fajitas were a mixture of shrimp, beef and chicken in a tomato based sauce. It was spicy and flavorful with a nice jalepeno garnish and pai

Best Mexican restaurant within 50 miles. Food is excellent- great flavors. Margaritas are consistently good. Bathrooms are always clean. Service is very fast and efficient. We come here at least once per week and our experience is always wonderful.

This place is right up there with my favorite Mexican restaurant in Chesterfeild, so if I need a quick fix this is my place! Great experience from go! Greeted from the second I walked in, till I left. Service was excellent, I didn’t have to swat the server away but I didn’t die from thirst either. As far as what I ordered: Appetizer- white cheese sauce, it was on point. The chips were fresh and a great start. Main dish for me was the Burrito El Mezon! OMG this was on point. It had a very fresh taste and the different meat tasted like it’s supposed too! Time for the check, for four people drinks, appetizers and main courses, we spent under $60.00 (not including tip, but we over tipped cause everything was 5-stars. I hungry now and craving some mexican food and don’t wanna drive! I’ll be there tomorrow!!!!! See y’all there soon!
