El Mezcal Mexican Restaurant - Bartlett

Restaurant was moist forehead hot. Waiter takes forever to take our orders. They want $13 for chicken and rice, which is my usual go-to cheap option at generic Mexican places, and then they barely put any rice or cheese. Asked for one check and got split checks instead. Not a good experience all around.

Perfection! The food is enough to rave over alone ,however,the customer service you'll receive at the bar is excellent. Date night ,eating alone,or with family....perfect for all occasions. Check them out !

This was our second time in a week eating here. A nice restaurant with a lot of seating and bar. The extensive menu makes this a good place to take a family or group. Our kids were able to get cheese quesadillias with rice or fries, my husband ordered chimichangas that came with a salad and rice. I had enchiladas (one shredded chicken and one shredded beef) with beans and rice. We were served chips with salsa at the table, which were good. Chips were fresh and the salsa was tasty without being overly hot. They had a variety of hot sauces. The food came out after a short wait, everything was hot (caution about the hot plates on adult entrees) and delicious. We enjoyed eating here. The first time we were too full to have dessert. The second time we had churros and a sopapillia with ice cream for dessert, The desserts were okay but not as good as the regular food. Kid-friendliness: Very friendly towards kids and willing to adjust menu items to request.
