El Jimador Mexican Restaurant & Bar

Have been going here for years and have had no problems. The food is still great BUT the service has go e way downhill! Today, 9/19/19, I had tacos and after receiving my order I had to wait almost 10 minutes to get waitress' attention to ask for some silverware and napkins. This never happened when the new owner was there during the luncheon!

Left St. Luke's starving, the client I was with said he wanted to have Mexican food and we happen to see the El Jimador Restaurant and quickly turned into the alley, parking is in back. We were a little skeptical before entering, it's a small building which looks like it might have been a house converted into a restaurant. Anyway, I judge a Mexican restaurant by how good the rice and beans are, because if you don't have good rice and beans then you have no right running a Mexican restaurant. I order the flautas and my client order the chicken tacos. It was all very good and not expensive. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
