This is chipotle but on a better level. Their hours are also amazing. The food is very good. One of my favorite things to eat near campus. Fun
Looking for that Chipotle feel but from a unique restaurant in a beautiful city? Make sure to check out EL Jefe's. I got tacos with just protein and rice, (I'm a fussy eater) my wife got s veggie bowl. Our only complaint was the lack of a vegetarian protein. Tofu, or sofritas would have gone a long away. Vegetarian options: Great veggies just no proteins. Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome. Parking: Decent meter parking around the corner. Wheelchair accessibility: Street level access.
When they get it right it’s fantastic, but I wouldn’t order 2 or more dishes from there unless you’re doing it in person. And yes, I agree with the people that say their staff is rude. They looked at me like I just walked into a soup kitchen in a full Versace outfit. My dog says thank you for the steak in the taco bowl instead of the veggie one I ordered. Thanks also for 1/8th portion of the other taco bowl.
