El Guadalajara

I love this place! Service is fabulous, the food is delicious, the family owned restaurant shows how generational differences work together to provide great service and food. I would recommend this restaurant over any other Mexican restaurant in town!

We arrived about 5:50pm on a Saturday. Maybe 3 other tables seated ( not any more by the time we left - which gives you an idea of where this review is going ). Surprisingly, it took awhile for us to get waited on for our drink order to be placed. It took awhile for our food to arrive ( especially given they were not busy). The salsa seems very watered down, like soup. The cheese sauce was the same, very watered down. The food was about average for mexican. If the service was better I'd go to a 3 star, but it wasnt until it got time to bring the check ( which we had to ask for ). It was my first time to eat here and I wont be going back. I really wanted / hoped it would be better, it just plain out was not. It could be so much more, but it just isn't. Darn.

Wow, I’ve found a new favorite Mexican restaurant, El Guadalajara. The food is so fresh. Love the soft tacos, and my Husband loved the chicken quesadilla. The chips are fresh and not hard. When we got our bill we were pleasantly surprised, they’re very reasonably priced.
