I've been coming here since they opened 20 yrs ago. I moved and when I'm in the area I still like to swing over for a carry out. I love the consistency of their recipes, the tacos Al pastor taste exactly the same as they did 20 yrs ago... Awesome! Also had the pico, its fresh and flavorful. I definitely recommend this spot!
I've been eating here since it opened. Food used to be great but over the years the meat quality has declined significantly. From premium steak in their offerings to fat ladened nodules where you wind up spitting half of it out. Gross. My last order was like this and overly salty. Makes me think they use a lot of salt to hide near expiring meat? IDK, not going back. Bummer...they used to be so good.
We ordered some Chicken flautas, they were good, crunchy and plenty of meat. The guac was very fresh and tasty, then the pastor tacos were also good and well seasoned, but the steak tacos were rather nasty, very COWY after taste, lots of fat from the meat as if they used the actual fat from the steak, they did not trim those stakes before to get rid of the excessive fat before cooking them. I will recommend this place, minus the stake tacos of course.
