El Borrego Mexican Restaurant

I've had food from this establishment years ago and I was not very impressed. I decided to try it again since there was a sign stating that it had new management. I'm glad I did :) The carnitas gordita was bomb. The barbacoa taco was delish. I've only had one memorable barbacoa place and this place definitely gives it competition. The meat is well seasoned and cooked. Will definitely come back.

Came in and got quite a few tacos each one costing I think $1.25(?) with some family members and they tasted great. Definitely planning to go back to try some of their other dishes because the food didn't disappoint us at all! Never really noticed this restaurant since it doesn't have any flashy signs and what not but so glad we took the time to order lol. They have 2 tables outside if you wish to each in the natural air but since it's on a main road, it can get pretty noisy while trying to chat at the table

This place is truly one of the best places I've visited by far that serves Birria/ Barbacoa. If you drive past it you might just miss it, wish more people knew of this place. You can honestly taste the difference when someone cooks with great skill and experience. Staff is just something else as well, just remarkable. Amazing experience, amazing food if I could give this place more stars I would.
