El Barco Mexican Restaurant

Atmosphere was good however, Service was mediocre had to go find and remind server to bring things to the table that had previously been requested in addition the restaurant applied a gratuity to a party of two when I would have tipped more then what they applied despite the subpar service

Service was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Waiter did not check up on us at all. Took around 25-30 minutes to get our drinks and about an hour for our food. The food did not compensate the wait AT ALL. My sister and mom suffered from food poisoning the next day. We will definitely NEVER EVER come back to that place.

What we received as food was not even close to decent. Except the el barco fajita it had flavor and the beef and chicken were tender and moist. The shrimp though was a little chewy. Their burrito was so salty it was inedible, but was redeemed by being removed from bill. The customer service needs improvement though. Would have liked to have been checked on a couple of times through my dinning experience. Our server was very nice. May try again in a few months to see if maybe they were having an off day.
