El Agave Family Mexican Restaurant

First time eating here and the food was amazing. I had the Birria tacos and my boyfriend had some rellenos and chicken tacos. The birria was perfect and not too greasy. The salsa they bring when you first sit down is so good. Lots of flavor and pretty spicy. It comes with flour tortilla chips as well which is nice a fluffy. Will be coming back.

This place is located in the corner amongst other businesses and a bit hidden but I found it on google. We’ve been here I want to say a total of 5x and will keep coming back. The food is always good and filling. Food tastes fresh and made with love. I say that to say basically tastes like a home cooked meal… delicious! The salsa and chips, obsessed. Haha… That salsa is really good! I usually get enchiladas (with or without meat), my family usually gets pozole, tacos, and ceviche. We love it! Service is fast and quick, everyone we’ve come in contact with that works here is very nice. Prices are reasonable, definitely try it out for yourself! (The pic, the garnish for the pozole weren’t provided yet but came with cilantro, cabbage, onions & lime).

My wife found this diamond in the rough of a restaurant in Rio Rancho, and believe me when I say that. I ordered the posole on a rainy day and it was delicious. So far the best I've had here in NM. My wife & daughter had the crispy taco plate and even that was good. No burnt tortilla shells here like other places. Beans & rice were authentic home made. So Gracias El Agave we definitely will be back to try the rest.
