E.J. Wills Gastropub

I am gluten free and EJ Wills gives me a WIDE variety to choose from. I am not celiac, but have strong reactions if I consume wheat gluten and have never had an issue here thankfully! Often my husband will share some of my GF dishes and he is so happy with the quality/taste EJ Wills provides! Best cheese sticks around and they offer Gf fish and chips (they are NOT soggy and taste great, sometimes the hubs who is not GF orders just for himself…if you didn’t know they were GF you would never know! ????). The atmosphere and service both are great considering you are at a pub. I have recommended EJ Wills to several GF friends and they all have loved and consider themselves frequent diners. I do not know the owners but appreciate them to include GF folks the way they do. ????????

We went here for the first time Friday night. We ordered an appetizer, 2 entrees and 2 burgers. The food came out and my husband and I got 2 entrees that came with 2 sides. The entrees were both brought out with one side (not 2) - my side was incorrect and my husband was missing his other side. The kid that brought our food - who wasn't our server - just looked confused but didn't say a single word and left the table. They didn't bring our appetizer yet, so let the server know about the appetizer and it came out after our food. We also let the server know the sides were incorrect. They finally brought my husband his second side and brought me one correct side and forgot the other one. At this point, I just told our server to forget the other side. My husband had also ordered another beer prior to this which our server forgot and never brought to the table so we just said forget it. We visited this place back in the spring on a Thursday night just as a very ominous storm was rolling in. When arrived about 45 minutes before closing. The hostess seated us and then told us that they had run out of around 10 items on their menu. Since it was late and a storm was coming, we decided to stay... Then she told us it was last call at the bar, so we quickly ordered drinks, which were not bad, actually. So then we placed our order. Guess what? They were out of the entree I wanted to order - even though that wasn't one of the items she said they had run out of when we came in. Our appetizer was served with the wrong sauce because they were out of the sauce they normally used, so the flavor was totally disgusting. And they acted like we were inconveniencing them the entire time we were there even though we left 20 minutes before closing. (We were not the only ones there, nor were we the last to leave.)
