Eggspresso Glenview

If you like to eat MOLD, I would say this is the best place to come. And with your mold, you'll enjoy overcooked eggs, ribeye fat, gristle, and missing condiments. Excuse me while I go throw up again.

Really fun place with great food and good service. The weather was nice so the outdoor seating was very popular, so we went inside for immediate seating. I had the caramelized apple pancakes and my wife had a Mexican skillet. Both were excellent but she raved about hers. As a side, I ordered hash browns with onions; also very good. The coffee was great and in abundance! Definitely worth a trip to The Glen to check out.

Wish I would have looked at the pictures of the avocado toast before ordering it as it was nothing like what I’ve had in numerous other restaurants. A thin spread of almost tasteless avocado with some seasoning sprinkled on top was disappointing but exactly what is shown in the photos. My mistake! I also was mistaken that ordering the toast without eggs would come at a reduced price. $10.99 for one piece of toasted bread with scant spread was a shocker that prompted me to request the 2 hard boiled eggs to go when the charges weren’t reduced. We arrived about 8am on a Monday morning & there was one person eating in the establishment but the service was extremely slow. My friend’s Senior American breakfast was good & a much better value. Lessons learned!
