Never again will I order from here. I tried my best not to judge but it was just a horrible first experience. I ordered what was supposed to be “savannah style grits”. First attempt it looked like cheese water. My boyfriend brought that and the sad egg and cheese sandwich back inside for a refund. Instead they offered to remake it. When he brought the second attempt back out the grits were literally in one gigantic clump and the sandwich still looked dry. The sad thing is the cooks are black. You would think they’d know how to make some grits! Wish I could give it zero stars. I literally had to bring it home and try to doctor everything up. Lessing learned!
Huge portions, inexpensive and a classic diner experience. Couldn't of asked for a better meal. Traveling on the road I always look for local hot spots and hate food chains. This definitely fit the bill! Will make this a destination everytime I'm in town
Stopped here today after finding on Google. Small little place. Walked in 3 other tables had people and then me. Service was less than par. Had to wait to get table wiped, cook had to bring me my food after it just sitting there.... the lady grabbed 2 other plates and headed to the back and left my done food just sitting. . Made zero sense to me why she didn't just bring my food instead letting sit there. So I asked cook he brought it. Then I had to get up go get my own refill and napkins. For the amount of people in there, there was no excuse. I went to pay, no check brought again I had to even ask what my total was! She asked how was everything and I was honest. Immediately went to the defense how she the owner blah blah blah... a little late for sob story. Didn't change the way my visit went. Food was AMAZING. I had chicken and waffles.
