As an overall experience, the 5 course Valentine’s Day dinner was great, the food left a little to be desired. The tarts on the first course were great, and the lobster bisque was fantastic maybe a little salty if I’m going to be picky but the cold lemony lobster was a nice touch. The sorbet as the third course was a great palate cleanser and refreshing. The main course was Chilean sea bass which was disappointing for me, it was cooked well but there wasn’t much flavor to speak of. The last course was a strawberry shaped chocolate filled with cake, mouse, and had gold leaf on top which was extremely good! Our waiter was fantastic sorry I forgot your name. I have 5 stars for the experience but wish I chose a different main course that may be on me.
We went for brunch and everything was great - the food, the coffee and drinks. My only complaint (and why I gave 4 stars on service) is I ordered a mimosa and the glass wasn't even filled half way. They definitely get you on that, I won't order that again. But I had the breakfast fried rice and it was delish!! My husband had the biscuits and gravy with elk sausage. I tasted it and I wasn't sure I would like it because elk I've had previously tasted very gamey and I didn't like it. This was not gamey tasting at all and was quite tasty. The best part was definitely the bloody mary - yummy! I tasted my husband's bloody mary with the bacon and olives - it was so good I had to get my own! Of course it's expensive (about $250 for 4 ppl) but definitely worth it. We WILL be back! Dietary restrictions: My sister in-law has a gluten allergy and they had plenty of options for her. She enjoyed her food as well.
We stayed at the Four Seasons and went to EDGE for breakfast. The frittata was delicious and the elk sausage was the best elk we have ever had. The restaurant itself was beautifully modern and I loved the plants that were added in between booths. Great overall experience
