Edgars Bakery

Love Edgar's Bakery! Nice open, airy casual atmosphere. The food is so good and everything is fresh. I love their Signature Chicken Salad on a croissant with fresh fruit. Service is fast and friendly. The desserts are sinfully delicious! A great place to have lunch with friends. They don't rush you out so you can sit and visit awhile.

My first experience, I ordered a cake, it was not the one that was supposedly been on picture, that was disappointed, they credit me a $10.00 gift card, glad it wasn't represented in front of many guest to show. Now, just recently, my husband purchase inside the store 2 slices of cake and a cinnamon roll and orange roll to bring to me for my birthday surprise. Well, I said Oops what is this, he said I know. He ask them at the counter about it and they just looked at him, with a weird unconcerned face, and didn't or say anything. But, he still purchase all items. I told him I wouldn't have; it seems like everything had shrunk for as making for as ingredients. Yes, the slices aren't like it was about 5 years ago, and oh my the rolls look like biscuits. I would give them a 0 on scale for as taste, look, and price! But he tried. Like some of the other reviews stated, skills and customer service could use help in that department. Update: Edgar's reached out to me regarding this issue and apologized. They asked for a chance to make it up to us. I appreciate them taking the time to try to resolve the issue. It shows good customer service. We wanted cute cat faces on our petit fours. We were told they couldn't do that but they could do flowers. I thought they would be tiny flowers with the three colors. We were highly disappointed. They are incredibly plain, the icing on the sides is not at all smooth, and the flowers were something I'd expect from someone training in the bakery at a grocery store. We won't write Edgar's off but I won't order for special occasions again...
