Great food with a friendly, courteous staff. I like that's it's black owned, local and has a varied menu. The fried shrimp was delicious as were the peppery green beans. The yellow rice was ok, but the mac and cheese was awesomely cheesy, tangy, and flavorful. Definitely will visit again.
Delicious and tasty soul food, the BBQ ribs and fried fish were by far the best I’ve had in the area. The red rice is a must try as well! Would happily visit this area multiple times!
We have to stop by anytime we are in Charleston. The food is amazing. We went last night and we’re going back again tonight because it was that good! I had the bbq chicken, red rice and macaroni and my husband had turkey wings, white rice and cabbage. It was full of flavor, hot and fresh. You have to try it, you’ll love it.
