East China Inn

I had been to East China Inn a few times before the pandemic and recently went again with a large party of friends. I did not know what to expect here. For many restaurants, inflation has hit hard. The prices have gone up and the quality of service has gone down due to not being able to find the right staff. That's not the case here. I found the staff to be courteous, food to be tasty and the prices to be reasonable. Definitely worth checking out. Here are some of the dishes that I would recommend: hot and sour soup, schezwan supreme, beef chow fun, shrimp fried rice. I'm sure there are other good dishes here too but these are the ones that we got and liked.

I have been dining here for years and I have come to know the staff very well. The food is excellent and authentic. I was once told by the waitress that most of the staff is brought in everyday by van from Chinatown in Chicago to cook and serve at the restaurant. Great food and really nice people here.
