The world needs more little places like this! We'll be back for sure. Make it a lunch date and share a side so you also have room to share a homemade dessert. Duck in Market is a hole in the wall Cajun joint tucked in downtown Valley Park and inside of a convenience store. How much more could you need to know to guarantee how great it is? It's run by a father and 2 sons with some NOLA blood; 1 son takes your order and payment up front, the other son and the dad are cooking in the back. I had a delicious and unique cheeseburger but there were all sorts of other food items I am excited to go back and try out.
Father/son run convience store and restaurant. The service is friendly, the drink fridges have a good variety and the food is always delicious! My go to is a fried bologna sandwich and it always hits the spot. Fridays are catfish day if that tickles your fancy. Be sure to get your weekday lunch here, it's awesome!
