Had lunch with two of my co-workers today here. We all tried each other's dishes and it they were all tasty. The stand outs are their audibly-crunchy onion rings, crispy well-seasoned fries, Nutella pancakes, and their eggs benedict! Check out the pics below to see everything we tried! We had a Sunday breakfast at Du-Pars on W 3rd Street this morning. We got there just after 9am and there already was a line. We waited for about 20mins before being seated inside. Our order: a short stack (3) of buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup, two eggs w/ pork sausages and a couple of glasses of freshly squeezed orange juice. The pancakes were amazing! But I still don’t know how people eat a full stack…they are ginormous! The eggs and sausage were pretty decent. I’m not a huge fan of the hash browns though (just a personal preference). Customer service was great and the location is awesome (just at the entrance of The Original Farmer’s Market). Highly recommended.
An LA icon, and maybe that's why it's in the Amazon TV show "Bosch". Maybe that's why I had to dine here. I had the Blue Plate special, a stack of buttermilk pancakes. They and the coffee were great, the service was good as well. And the added benefit of have the LA Farmers Market as a neighbor.
