Not my kind of Bbq but the sweet tea was amazing. We ordered the combo meals (bbq chicken/sausage and bbq ribs/sausage, green beans and mac). The BBQ sauce was homemade but the measurements must've been fudged up that day because it was WAYYYY too vinegary. The Mac tasted like it came from KFC, which I don't like. The green beans were ~okay, not GREAT, but also not bad. The best parts of the plate were the meats without the sauce. the chicken was juicy and the sausage was well smoked.
It was not busy when we were there. The rib end sandwich was great. House-made chips are good. While I love vinegar-based BBQ sauce, this was not my favorite. Be aware they only have that one BBQ sauce. They should consider at least one more in my opinion.
We ate here during the Duluth Harvest Festival, and despite an hour wait had a great lunch! Chicken was moist and tasty. Macaroni and cheese was outstanding. Potato salad was perfect. Baked potato with rib tips was delicious. Loved the spicy house bbq sauce. Great place!
