Downtown Cafe

This is my third time here, and it has not disappointed. Love the boleros and trio music they play. It's very soothing and enjoyable to eat to. I would 100% recommend to anyone who want great service, delicious food, and relaxing Mexican music.

This was the wife and my first time at the Cafe. The atmosphere was fine, the service was okay. I ordered the menudo with the tortillas and the fried biscuits. My wife had the pancakes bacon and eggs. We also ordered coffee and sweet tea. Menudo looked and tasted like it was sitting out all day the tripe was overcooked and the tortillas had so much butter you couldn't even taste the flower. The pancakes were the best part of our meal. The tea tasted like it came out of a plastic bottle it wasn't brewed. Before I left I did notice the cook was getting the Menudo or the Spanish soup out of the crock pot.

Great service! Charming, quaint, and the food was delicious. I loved the antique plates, the decor, the music was soothing, and let's talk about the rice. I had the best arroz I've had since my mom still cooked. I'll be back for sure.
