Took my mom here, it used to be her high school joint. It has gone downhill in service and food quality. In fact, both locations in Whittier and Santa Fe Springs are terrible. We went to the one in Whittier and ordered a double cheeseburger burger to split and made it a large, which we gladly paid for. It came out to over $21!! We checked our receipt and they also charged us a $0.70 service fee. Meaning just to hand you the food over the counter. Carl’s Jr. does the exact same thing for free. Do they charge the drive-up orders the same?? And even if they didn’t, I have no problem getting up and getting my own food. And then the topper was they put relish on our burger instead of pickles - RELISH ON A BURGER!! Who the heck does that?? Usually I don’t like to leave to leave bad reviews, I believe in second chances, but Douglass has screwed up too many times with us.
